HISTORY

In 1850, when the Territory of Utah was created by Congress, the area that is now Fernley was located on its far western border.

EVENTS

Show and Shine is one of many events held yearly. Vintage cars participate in the 4th of July parade and are shown at the Out of Town Park.

DINING

Fernley offers fine dining to fast food. The Wigwam Restaurant is one of the first establishments and is home to an Indian museum.

Enjoy area recreation from golf to racing. Many open areas provide hiking and bike trails along with many day trip destinations
