Chamber Members;

The Fernley Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2011 Board of Directors. This year, three seats on the Board of Directors are up for election and those elected will serve a three year term.

Nominees will be considered qualified provided they are active Chamber Members in good standing and have agreed to accept the responsibility of a directorship and are not employed by the Chamber or at the expense of the Chamber.

Each nominee is required to submit a written statement (email is acceptable) to the nominating committee certifying that they wish to have their name included on the official ballot. Please include a paragraph telling a little about yourself and why you wish to become a Board Member. Letters or Emails of Intent will be accepted no later than August 31, 2010 at 4:00pm. Ballots will be sent out by September 10, 2010. Voting ends on September 30, 2010, at 4:00pm.
